Stream Chat Moderation

Permanently banned users will not be kicked out of the current stream. They won’t be able to chat, but they will still be able to watch. Once they leave the stream, your shop will no longer appear on the watchfeed for them, ever.

Current stream banned users will have the same limitations as those banned from shop, but they will be able to see your future streams on the watchfeed and join/chat in those streams.
 

To remove a user from your blocked list, simply click the ‘-’ to the right of their username on the Banned Users tab.

Loupe puts each seller in control of their stream moderation. To access moderation controls, click the ellipses next to the chat of the user you wish to Block, Ban from Stream, or Ban from Shop.

Here, you can block users, report them to Loupe, ban them from the current stream, or ban them from your shop completely.

While Loupe does allow shops to set their own standards in terms of chat moderation, we encourage shops to ensure that their streams are welcoming to all, and to foster an environment that allows for users to have the best experience possible.
