Stream Title Updates and Push notifications are vital to a break's success!
Editing your Stream Title
To edit a Stream Title in an active stream, select Edit Stream, and enter the new Stream Title in the Title field.
When updating your Stream Title, you can also select whether to send a push notification to users letting them know the title has been updated. This feature is primarily intended to notify your shop followers and current-stream buyers of important messages, such as when a break has filled and is about to be ripped, when teams have been discounted, and/or why buyers should be in your stream and nowhere else.
If you wish to send a push notification alongside updating your title, ensure the slider next to "Send update push notification" is active, and this will notify all users that follow your shop and any that have bought into the current livestream.
As an example: You closed a break and want to notify everyone who purchased a team that the break is about to run. To do this, you could update your stream title to reflect that message “FILLED & BREAKING 2024 Bowman Draft PYT Case!” and toggle Send Update.
Shop Following
Users that Follow your shop receive a push notification with your stream title every time you go live. Additionally, any time you Send a Stream Title Update while you’re live, your shop followers will receive that push notification. It’s important to build your follower list to promote your streams and build your buyer list.
Instruct users to click the orange Follow button at the top of their screen. The Follow button will change to Following once a user is following your shop. Additionally, users may click the Stream Title at the top of their screen or the information (i) to access the Shop Profile and click the Follow button.
